TIGER Drylac® 3D Metallics meet the strict test and quality standards of GSB International Florida 3 and/or QUALICOAT Class 2. Available in various gloss levels as well as smooth and finely textured surfaces, the product is the ideal solution for demanding facade coatings as well as design-oriented interior applications - protection and shine included for many years.
Wet paint analog 3D effects
TIGER Drylac® 3D Metallics combine the advantages of powder and wet paint systems. The innovative product line is manufactured in a special process and impresses with its incomparable brilliance and distinctive depth effect, which is visible from all viewing angles.
This can be measured in terms of the intensity and area of the visible effect at different angles. The following graphic compares TIGER Drylac® 3D Metallics with an effect powder coating conventionally produced using the bonding process. Despite the identical pigment type and concentration, the standard product shows the typical effect flop: At an angle of 15°, the metallic look is easily measurable and visible, while at others it is difficult to detect. TIGER Drylac® 3D metallics are characterized by striking effects at all measured angles.

Ease of application and excellent batch consistency
In order to apply TIGER Drylac® 3D-Metallics, no changes need to be made to the usual coating process - the powder coating can be sprayed on electrostatically and cured in the oven as usual.
In addition, TIGER Drylac® Series 68 powder coatings are characterized by high batch consistency and cycle stability. Their insensitivity to changes in system parameters and changes in the proportion of fresh powder to reclaimed powder make them a sustainable alternative to liquid coatings: for MORE surface finishing in just one coat.
