TIGER Drylac to Expand St. Charles, IL Location
August, 2022 (St. Charles, IL) – TIGER Drylac ® announces the groundbreaking on a expansion of its US production facility in St. Charles IL. TIGER plans an investment of $17 million to create state-of-the-art production, warehouse and Laboratory facilities that will total approximately 130,000 square feet and be completed early in 2023.
“The St. Charles facility is the flagship of our North American operations.” states Dan Simovic, Co-CEO “This expansion will improve our ability to capitalize on new business opportunities as well as continue to grow our market share in our core powder coating business.”
The TIGER Drylac® US facility supplies customers directly, as well as an extensive network of company warehouses across North America to supplement production in both Canada and Mexico. The Innovation and Development Laboratory in St. Charles is one of three (3) across the Globe for TIGER. This site features extensive testing, sampling and approval capabilities to OEM specifications and industry standards.
TIGER Drylac® US manufacturing facilities comply to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality Standards.
Another key attribute to the expansion project is the ability to lower our environmental footprint. TIGER produces environmentally friendly powder coatings, water-based digital inks and high-performance polymers for additive manufacturing (3D printing) – these products reflect a constant drive toward a sustainable future.
