Flip Flop Powder Coatings

Flip Flop finishes represent the latest addition to our special effects range and exhibit attractive, constantly changing accents - depending on viewing angle and light source. This holographic effect is made possible thanks to special refracting pigments in the powder coating. Depending on how you look at the surface with Flip-Flop colors it could look red from one angle and golden from the next - all while still offering high brilliance and bright colors. Complex shaped surfaces further emphasize this effect causing an outstanding finish and unique viewing experience.

Easy One Coat Application
Just as any other standard powder coating, Flip-Flop finishes offer simple application with great results in only one coat! Optionally transparent topcoats can also be used to ensure a look of depth and the movement of the merging color-nuances in the finish, as well as increased durability. This however is not a mandatory step.
Made for Interior and Exterior Environments
As part of TIGER Drylac® Series 59, Flip-Flop finishes are polyester powders formulated to work in industrial exterior environments, and of course, they also may be used for interior applications. Characteristics of polyester powder coatings include above-average UV-protection, resistance to chipping and abrasion and a very smooth finish.
