Building a resilient infrastructure, promoting broad-based and sustainable industrialization and supporting innovation

TIGER continuously invests in the research, development and improvement of its products. An above-average research and development ratio - expenditure on research and development as a percentage of sales - of almost five percent clearly reflects this commitment.

For all products and new developments, we focus specifically on sustainability and implement a corresponding strategy during the development process to keep these criteria in mind. The CO2 footprint of the entire product range is to be reduced by 30% by 2030.

In recent years, we have continuously invested in the infrastructure at our production site in Wels. As a family business, it is important to TIGER to return the profits generated to the company in order to be able to work with state-of-the-art technology. In doing so, we are focusing on digitalization as a driver for the decarbonization of the economy.

Our company has already implemented numerous measures on the road to climate neutrality: The installation of heat recovery systems, intelligent shading and the conversion of building heating to district heating are just a few examples.

The production of our own green electricity is important to us. We already cover part of our electrical energy requirements with the help of photovoltaic systems. Our goal is to use all suitable areas on the TIGER site for the installation of solar panels and to expand our photovoltaic capacity to 1 MWp by 2030.

In order to make TIGER's CO2 emissions and energy consumption transparent, we have drawn up an energy and materials balance sheet, established a comprehensive energy monitoring system and calculated our corporate carbon footprint.

We want to reduce our specific energy consumption by seven percent by 2030.
