Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls

TIGER recognizes that to meet the challenges of our fast-paced and complex times, companies need male and female leadership energy in an inclusive work environment that values and accepts everyone as a valuable individual - regardless of gender, background, culture, identity or disability. That is why TIGER includes diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in its annual KPI report and aims to increase the proportion of DEI in its workforce to at least 35 percent by 2030.

Family and career must not be a contradiction in terms! It is very important to us to give all TIGER women and men the same opportunities. TIGER offers career opportunities regardless of gender and sexual orientation. These principles are deeply rooted in our corporate vision. We respond to discrimination of any kind with disciplinary measures up to and including dismissal.

Flexible working hours as well as job and top sharing models make it easier for men and women to achieve an optimal work-life balance. In the production area, we have launched a part-time offensive in order to be able to react flexibly to the needs of our employees. Part-time management positions are possible at TIGER, and working from home in some cases allows additional flexibility. To help parents plan their vacations, we offer a four-week adventure program for children aged six and over during the summer vacations.

As unpaid care and housework is still mainly carried out by women, TIGER, as a family-friendly company, supports its male employees in taking on caring responsibilities. In recent years, several TIGER employees have taken their paternity leave and/or paternity month. By highlighting positive examples, we want to encourage even more men to take advantage of this opportunity.

The promotion of women in technical professions is particularly important to TIGER. As a partner of Girls' Day, we give young girls an insight into different areas of the company. We are also involved in a mentoring program in which HTL students can gain their first experience of the working world.

The continuous expansion of automation in production also enables women to find their place in this area. The lifting aids installed simplify the handling of heavy loads, for example. The TIGER production management team has an above-average number of women.
