We had the chance to talk to Tetyana Voytenko, partner at LASER & more and founder of the ARTIG METALL brand, and ask her about their products and the importance of powder coating.

ARTIG METALL stands for high-quality, sustainable metal products for indoor and outdoor use: fences, privacy panels, balcony railings, garden design, partition walls and home accessories. The idea for the ARTIG METALL brand was born in 2016. ARTIG METALL products are manufactured in a 2,500 m2 production hall in Wels (Upper Austria). Hide & See - Fences and Privacy Screens
The "Hide & See" collection offers sophisticated fences and privacy screens for different installation conditions. Depending on the laser motif selected, they can have different degrees of transparency. The quantity and type of cut-outs determine how much of a property is visible. This allows individual adaptations to the respective architectural style and the desired level of privacy. Despite their robustness, the panels allow light and air to flow through, creating a pleasant atmosphere. TIGER: Why do you apply powder coating to your products?
Tetyana Voytenko: There are several reasons behind the decision to use powder coating. Firstly, highly weather-resistant powder coatings offer lasting protection for the surface of our aluminum and stainless steel products. They make the products much more resistant to different weather conditions, which increases their durability. On the other hand, powder coating gives our products a high-quality design finish. It visually enhances the product and makes it stand out. But that's not all: powder coating also allows our customers to customize their products. For example, they can match the color of their fence or balcony railing exactly to the facade color or the window frames of their house. This allows our products to be seamlessly integrated into the overall appearance of the property.
TIGER: What do you have to consider when working with powder coating?
Tetyana Voytenko: For exterior applications such as fences, railings, metal planters and shading panels, we recommend using highly weather-resistant powder coatings. Our experience has shown that surfaces with a matt fine structure are particularly low-maintenance and are very popular with customers.
TIGER: Why did you choose TIGER Series 68?
Tetyana Voytenko: We settled on TIGER's 68 series because we wanted to provide our customers with a surface that is particularly easy to maintain. Despite weathering, it should retain an excellent gloss level for years and provide optimum protection for the material. Our philosophy is clear: Design can polarize, but it must not rust.
A highlight for us are the TIGER 3D Metallics, which give products a very special and unique touch. The fine-textured surfaces are also incredibly impact and scratch resistant.
TIGER: What should I consider when planning a fence?
First of all, it is essential to take into account the construction regulations and guidelines of the local building authority. It is important for us and our installation partners to know the allowed fence height and the required transparency of the design in advance. We offer a wide range of laser designs in our catalog. When making your choice, you should bear in mind that the fence will accompany you for many decades. We therefore recommend timeless options in terms of design and color selection, which will blend in with the overall appearance of the house even after many years.
We also always recommend weather-resistant powder coating, even if it is comparatively more expensive. In the long term, it is a valuable investment in a surface that retains its color intensity for many years and requires minimal cleaning. We want our customers to enjoy their time in their gardens to the fullest and not be preoccupied with maintaining their fence.
