Prices for electricity, gas and heat are currently at record levels. Energy-efficient management and a sustainable lifestyle are therefore more important than ever - for companies and private households alike. Against this backdrop, the automotive industry is also facing a profound change - away from fossil fuels and toward electromobility. 

E-fueling stations for our staff and visitors

In order to support this trend, TIGER has taken appropriate measures and installed them on the factory premises in Wels. While our employees and customers are in the company, they have the opportunity to "refuel" their electric vehicles at one of our charging stations. At the customer parking lot next to the main entrance alone, there are five e-charging stations with a total of ten connection points. A 370 kWp photovoltaic system on the roofs of our Wels site generates the electricity we need from environmentally friendly solar energy. 

Powder coating for electric charging stations

Against this background, it is interesting to know that TIGER Drylac® powder coatings are also used to finish electric charging stations. For example, the housings of e-charging stations are coated with weather-resistant or highly weather-resistant powder coatings - on the one hand to enhance their appearance and on the other hand to guarantee the durability of the stations. Whether in plain gray or white, colorful or with dazzling 3D metallic effects: Every customer wish can be implemented. Finally, the color tone of the e-charge point also increases recognition among e-car drivers.

Powder coating contains no solvents and is therefore the environmentally friendly alternative to wet paint. High-quality surfaces with high UV resistance and brilliant color intensity can be achieved in just one coat. 

By the way: In addition to the powder coating of metal housings, TIGER Drylac® can also be used on plastic covers - depending on the material.
